Born and raised in Colorado, I began drawing as a child inspired by my father's ability to draw cars and bikes from memory. I was lucky enough to be exposed to the tattoo style of Greg Skibo, and those images of skulls, demons, dragons and Koi, were burned into my artistic consciousness FOREVER. At the age of 18, the Skibo family gave me my first real apprenticeship. I met Chris J'tot, the future owner of Phantom 8, at their shop. In 1998 I moved to Denver and Phantom 8 became my permanent hub to tattoo the world from. Phantom 8 has a creative vibe and a strong sense of pride and quality.
